Abstract

In the research, it is aimed to examine the effect of organizational psychological capital on the emotional labor of employees and whether the development culture plays a mediating role in this relationship. The data used in the research were collected by simple random sampling method from 488 health workers working in two public (state and university) hospitals with health tourism authorization certificate in Erzurum province. When the results of the analysis were evaluated, it was determined that organizational psychological capital had a positive and significant effect on emotional labor attitude. A high level of perception of developmental culture increases the positive effect of organizational psychological capital on emotional labor, while a low level of perception of developmental culture reduces the positive effect of organizational psychological capital on emotional labor. In this sense, organizational development culture will positively affect health tourism investments and planning, which is an important part of the national development strategy.
