The aim of the research is to determine perceptions of the local people towards the International Kahramanmaraş Ice Cream and Culture and Art Festival held in Kahramanmaraş. The questionnaire form consists of demographic variables and the local people's perception of the festival scale. The questionnaire was applied to the people of Kahramanmaraş in the form of easy sampling. In the research, data was obtained by evaluating the results of 414 surveys. The findings were obtained by examining the data with the SPSS program. Four factors occurred in the research. The urban pride factor has been the most explained. It has been observed that urban pride is at the forefront for the people of Kahramanmaraş. It has been observed that female individuals are more embracing about the festival than male individuals. According to the results of the research, a positive and significant relationship was observed between cultural influence and urban pride. It is seen that there is a culturally positive effect as the level of education increases. Previous studies also support this. As the income level rises, the negative view of festivals decreases.
