The Effect of the Coronavirus Pandemic on The Intention of Buying A Holiday

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between individuals' perceptions of coronavirus pandemic, prevention taken for coronavirus, their interest levels regarding coronavirus pandemic and their holiday buying intentions. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied via internet. 440 useable questionnaires were analyzed. According to the results of the analysis, it was found that there is a negative relationship between hazardousness dimension of coronavirus perception and intention to buy a holiday. As a result of the research, it was determined that the intention of buying a holiday showed significant differences according to the holiday price expectation of the participants.
