Abstract

Virtual museum systems are important for the communication of cultural contents thanks to their fun and educational approaches. In this context, the importance of revealing whether visitors who experience virtual museums are satisfied with this situation is easily understood. In the study, the satisfaction levels of the individuals who made virtual tours in the virtual museum were revealed. To achieve this goal, data were collected from 227 people who experienced virtual museums. Data collection was carried out with digital media. As a result of the research, a two-variable structure has emerged: virtual tour satisfaction and usability of the virtual environment. However, a positive relationship was found between the usability of the virtual environment and virtual tour satisfaction. Accordingly, as the availability of the virtual environment increases, virtual tour satisfaction increases.
