The research found out that local tourists were young, educated, living in the surrounding counties, visiting Amasya with their own vehicles and having one-day visit. It was also found out that they are happy with their visit, tend to recommend what they experience, but even if they have time, they say that they will not consider staying longer, which is a problem to be addressed to increase tourism revenues.
