Abstract

After the mobile applications used for restaurant businesses are examined, it is understood that they perform different services. Some applications provide services that facilitate restaurant business management, while others provide services to customers and products. Likewise, while some applications offer service only to one restaurant, some of them cover all restaurants. In the preliminary review, it has been determined that there is a need for a mobile application covering all services in restaurants. The aim of this study is to develop a multifunctional mobile application proposal that can appeal to all restaurant managements and customers and to offer them all services, and to measure the attitudes of users towards this proposal. In this direction, a mobile application proposal was created by examining the literature and taking expert opinions from software experts and academicians. In this study, in which the qualitative research method was preferred, the purposeful sampling technique was used in the selection of the participants. Data were collected using semi-structured interview and focus group interview techniques and descriptive analysis was performed. The attitudes measured of both restaurant managers and customers towards this application proposal were positive.
